From Small Business to Shared Future: My Journey from Lemond Nutrition to the MyOr Network
Â
For 11 years, I have proudly called Lemond Nutrition home. I’ve been fortunate to be part of a company that shares the values that matter most to me— consistency, integrity, serving our staff well and always doing what is best for our patients. Providing excellent care and building meaningful relationships has been at the heart of everything I / we have wanted to do. And I believe we successfully accomplished that together!
One of the things that made Lemond Nutrition so special was the culture Angela, Lemond Nutrition’s founding director, and I were able to build together over time. Faith and family were always at the center of who we were (and continue to be)—not only in how we cared for our patients, but also in how we treated one another as a team and honored their personal lives, not just professional lives. We supported each other through highs and lows and created an environment where people genuinely cared about one another. That sense of family has always been one of our greatest strengths.
As with anyone who owns a small business or has been a part of running a small business, especially in the healthcare world, you understand the challenges that are present and often hard to overcome. Joining the MyOr network became an opportunity to strengthen what we do while continuing to serve our patients with the same level of care and commitment they deserve and had come to expect.
Transitions can be intimidating and the future unknown, but I can confidently say this one has been a true blessing. From the beginning, the MyOr team has been welcoming, compassionate, and genuinely invested in making this process successful. They are hardworking people with strong values, and what has stood out to me most is their willingness to listen. They truly want to understand what makes each clinic unique and work to support those needs rather than forcing a one-size-fits-all approach.
What has been especially meaningful is seeing that family-centered culture continue. Rather than losing the values that made Lemond Nutrition successful, I’ve seen them preserved and embraced. The focus on people, relationships, and supporting one another remains strong, which has made this transition feel less like an ending and more like a continuation of the foundation we worked so hard to build.
While change is never easy, this transition has reinforced my belief that we can continue providing outstanding care while also benefiting from the support and resources of a larger organization. I’m grateful for my years with Lemond Nutrition and excited about what the future holds with MyOr. Most importantly, I’m confident that our patients will continue to receive the high-quality care they have always counted on from us and our dietitians will have access to new resources that allow them to truly grow and thrive professionally.Â
